Top 5 Interior Design Trends for 2023

Based on previous trends and developments in the past year, here are some interior design trends that we’re likely to see for 2023.

  1. Natural materials and textures: The use of natural materials such as wood, stone, and plants will continue to be popular. Textured fabrics and finishes will also be in demand to add depth and character to interior spaces.

  2. Sustainable design: The focus on sustainability will continue to grow, with eco-friendly materials and designs becoming more prevalent. The trend towards reducing waste and repurposing items will also be emphasized.

  3. Maximalism: After years of minimalism dominating the design scene, maximalism is making a comeback. Bold patterns, colors, and textures will be combined to create eclectic and visually stimulating interiors.

  4. Biophilic design: This trend involves incorporating elements of nature into indoor spaces to promote well-being and connection with the natural world. This can include using plants, natural light, and organic shapes and patterns.

  5. Retro and vintage: A growing appreciation for retro and vintage styles will continue, with mid-century modern designs and 80s and 90s inspired elements being incorporated into contemporary interiors.
